Our Commitment to Accessibility

At Laufzentrum.com, it is our central concern to ensure that all people have access to information, products, and services related to triathlon—regardless of individual abilities or limitations. Accessibility reflects our belief that sports and the community that comes with it must be open to everyone.

Legal Foundations and Company Size

We design our website to be accessible in accordance with the requirements of the
Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and
Directive (EU) 2016/2102.

Although triathlon.de GmbH / Laufzentrum.com, as a micro-enterprise (§2 para. 3 BFSG), is exempt from certain obligations, we voluntarily commit to enabling digital inclusion for everyone.

Accessibility Status

Our website is partially compliant with the
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2 Level AA),
the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0),
and the European Standard EN 301 549.

Non-accessible content is continuously reviewed and gradually improved.

PDF documents that are not accessible
Limited keyboard navigation in some areas
Missing alternative texts for certain images
Insufficient contrast ratios of some text elements

We are actively working to address these issues to ensure unrestricted use for all users.

Use of SEA Accessibility Assistive Software (EAA / ADA / WCAG)

Our website supports the SEA Accessibility App, which allows users to individually adjust the display of content. Features of the app include:

Text-to-speech functionality
Blue light filter and night mode
Option to hide images, animations, or sound
Adjustable cursor size and sans-serif font option

The app can be opened directly via the visible icon on the website. All functions are available within the app and can be customized individually. SEA Accessibility has been tested for BITV/WCAG compliance.
